We are half way into the 2012 NW CUP downhill season, the first three races were up in Port Angeles Washington but the next couple races are going to be back in Oregon at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.
Take a look at some of the photos we snapped at the last few races.
FTF DEVINCI HANKBUILT pit
HANKBUILT \ DEVINCI \ FTF race bikes so dialed

super steep new "waterfall" section
oh, just Brendog and Stevie Smith chattting at the local race no big deal.
NW showing of Strength in Numbers is tomorrow night. Tickets are $10 and we have them in the shop or they are available at the show. $10 gets you a bad ass movie, Beer, some really sweet schwag from our sponsors and the chance to hang out with your favorite Mountain Bike Shop crew. Don’t miss it!
Who is excited for Strength in Number? After seeing this ridiculousness, I guarantee that you will. I would go to the premiere just to watch an hour long video of Ian Morrison doing scrubs.
Just a reminder that we will be screening the new Anthill Films movie Strength In Numbers this Wednesday at the Clinton Theater! Tickets are available here at The Farm, and will be available at the door if they don’t sell out before hand.
Is ‘dialed-est’ a word? We went all-out on Chris’s Tallboy, and it’s possibly the nicest custom build we’ve done. Rock Shox SId World Cup fork with carbon crown and steerer, Full SRAM XX drivetrain, Shimano XTR Race brakes, ENVE XC 29 rims laces to Chris King hubs, Chris King bottom bracket and headset, ENVE handlebar and stem, Thomson Masterpiece seatpost, Selle SLR XC saddle, Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evo tires. Chris is taking this to the Silver Rush 50 miler in Leadville this summer. Guaranteed to shred.
So this was up on vitalmtb.com today and you may have already seen it, but i had to share it anyway.
Mitch is one of the nicest kids i have met and is super pinned on slalom and 4x tracks, he recently started racing Down Hill at the world cup level which is a huge change in disciplines.
as if that wasn’t impressive enough check out this video of him slaying a skate park in the RAIN! Amazing, good to see so much young talent emerging here in the USA.
Get out and enjoy the weather while it’s here! Sandy, Syncline, Siouxson, Whoopdee, Cold Creek are all in great shape. Dialed Ride will be back later in the week.
For most of us, Bunny-Hops are a pretty basic part of bike handling skills. Curb in your way? A log? Some rocks? Just hop on over. But if your name is Gabe Brooks, your bunny hop skills are anything but basic. Check out this video of Gabe and his 49″ (!!!) Bunny Hop, and then go ask yourself why you can’t do the same thing. And let me know if you come up with an answer, because I still can’t figure out how he does this.
