And no, I don’t mean election season. It’s urban DH Time! This type of racing started in earnest a few years back with the Cerro Abajo race in Valparaiso, Chile, and has since expanded into a few other cities around the world, mostly in Latin America. Just this past month there were races in both La Paz, Bolivia, as well as Mexico City, Mexico. First here’s a look at the La Paz track on board with Filip Polc, who would go on to win:
Next, there was the Taxco DH, just outside of Mexico City. In this video you follow behind well-known shredder Brendan Fairclough as he figures out his lines for race day. Brendog would go on to win the race by a mere five tenths of a second.
