American Continental Championships
Do you have 15 minutes to spare? Of course you do, otherwise you probably wouldn't find yourself looking at our blog. This video shows a good bit of riding, and tells a bit of the story behind the American Continental Championships which recently took place in Tafi del Valle, Argentina. I like this video for a couple of reasons, first among them being that the XC course is no joke. Those climbs are loose and techy, and the descents are at least fast enough to make some of the riders look uncomfortable. Secondly, it's nice to see a mountain bike event coming out of South America that isn't an urban DH race. Don't get me wrong I love a good urban DH race, but given the huge number of talented riders and virtually unknown (to the rest of the globe) riding areas that South America has to offer, It's good to see a race like this attracting some attention all over the Americas.
Once again, this clearly takes place in the land of make believe.
