September 16 Timberline Shuttle Day BBQ Extravaganza

Time: Meet at 10-10:30 am, first shuttle is going to leave at 11am. Second shuttle will leave at X time. We will feel out the group and see what everyone wants to do.

Racers for MMC will get free shuttles and non racers will be charged 5 dollars. Free BBQ and beer.

Course: Timberline to town.

Directions: We will meet up at the intersection of rd 39 and Hwy 26.

A Raffle will be held after the ride during the BBQ.  All who raced will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a 650b and 29" Santa Cruz Reserve 30 wheel sets, or a Yakima Dr. Tray hitch rack, plus other great prizes and schwag give aways. Racers need not be present to win.

(You must have raced at least one MMC race to be eligible to win)

May 6th Dog River Super D

Time: Day of Registration 9:30, Rider meeting at 10am, Race Starts at 11am.  We will be providing shuttles to the top.

Meet up Location: Dog River Trail head parking lot. Meet there at 9-930am.

Course: Racers will start at the top of Dog River trail and will end at Hwy 35.

Directions: From Hood River: Drive south on Hwy 35 for about 20 miles. You will pass the Hood River Ranger Station on your right and five miles past before you cross the east fork of the hood there will be a turn out on your left. That is the Dog river trail head parking lot.

June 10th Sandy Ridge Super D

Time: Day of Registration 9:30, Rider meeting at 10am, Race Starts at 11am.

Meet up Location: Sandy Ridge Parking Lot.  Racers will be pedaling up to the top

Course: The race will start from the top of Communication Breakdown into Two Turntables into Hide and Seek.

Directions: From Portland: Drive east on US Highway 26  for 11.4 miles. Turn left on Sleepy Hollow DR. soon after a large sign indicating a left turn for Marmot. NOTE: This will be the second turn-off for Sleepy Hollow Rd. Once on Sleepy Hollow, go .3 miles and turn right on E. Barlow Trail Rd and over the Sandy River. After 1 mile on E. Barlow Trail Rd. look on the left for the signed Sandy Ridge Trail head which has parking for nearly fifty vehicles, a restroom and visitor information.

July 22nd Cold Creek Super D



Time: Day of Registration 8:00, Pre-ride at 9am.  Rider meeting at 10:30am at the start. Race Starts at 11am.

Meet up Time/Location: The Cold Creek parking lot (one with the bathrooms). Racers will be shuttled up to the top.

Course: From the meadow at the top we will follow the Cold Creek trail down to the road (L-1000).

Directions: From Portland: Take I-5 North to WA-500. Take WA-500 to NE Fourth Plain Blvd. Take a left onto NE Ward Rd. NE ward rd turns into 182 ave. From there take a right onto 139th. Take a left onto Rawson Rd. Rawson rd turns into L-1400. From there take a left on L-1000 drive 3.5 miles until you see the cars in the cold creek parking area.

$35 per race +$5 for one day OBRA license; Juniors 10-14yr FREE, 15-18yr $15! OBRA license required. Registration at OBRA.org   (All junior racers should be proficient at riding alone and every junior must have an accompanying guardian or chaperone. All juniors must have their guardian or chaperone fill out a waver for them. Waivers will be at the race day of.)

All races begin at 11am. Schwag at every race. Points: Top ten get points at each race (1st 10pts, 2nd 9pts, …)

All courses are long, fast and technical descents with climbs along the way. Categories: Pro Men, Pro Women, Amateur 19-39 Men, Amateur 40+ Men, Amateur 19-39 Women, Amateur 40+ Women, Junior 18 & under  Male, Junior 18 & under Female.
