Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind everything we sell. If there’s a problem with a product that you purchased from us, please bring it back to us. We offer exchanges within 14 days of your purchase for items returned in NEW condition.
No returns--in store credit or exchange only. No exchanges on used and sale items. Returns subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returns must be new and in original packaging. No returns after 14 days. Must have original receipt.
Labor fees, such as custom wheel builds or other services, are non-refundable.
Professional Build Fee
All of our new bikes are built by expert, veteran mechanics who have all managed other service centers, and each one brings about 20 years of experience to the job.
Each mountain bike we sell takes about 3 hours to build--no kidding. We don’t take shortcuts.
What does that mean? Every bike gets the following as part of a build:
- hydraulic brake and dropper post lines are bled
- pivots are pulled, lubed, and torqued
- all threads and bearings are treated with waterproof grease or anti-seize as appropriate
- there is generous use of a torque wrench to make sure bolts are tightened to spec
- cables and hoses are trimmed to the appropriate length for a given size bike for a clean cockpit
- wheel spokes are stress relieved and re-tensioned
- all components including suspension are tested for correct function and springs and dampers set up to rider weight
- a second mechanic does a quality control check on the build
- we set your suspension up for you at delivery
We want to make sure you go out the door with a high-performance bike that is safe and ready to ride. More time in the stand during the build means more time before you need to come back in for service.
We are proud of our mechanics’ experience and knowledge and charge according to assembly time. Therefore, all new bikes will include a professional assembly fee. With that, you get: the professional build, a tune-up after break-in, a lifetime of minor adjustments for the original owner, and warranty support if needed.
*Margins on bikes and parts have been decreasing for years, freight costs are rising rapidly, and bikes are becoming more time consuming to assemble properly. As a small business, we can no longer bear all of these costs. This assembly fee doesn’t fully cover the cost of labor and freight in getting a bike from the manufacturer to you, but it helps keep our business sustainable.
In-Store Pickup
In-store pickup is free for all items, including bikes. Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup.
If you need an item right away, please call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 60 days or a 10% restocking fee may be charged.
Shipping
We do not offer shipping at this time. Online sales are available for in-store pickup only.
Stock Availability
Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate inventory in our online catalog. However, inventory or pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel any orders where mistakes or discrepancies in price or stock status exist regardless of the source of the error.
